Chinese Ambassador Zhang Hanhui reported that China Chengtong and the Russian New Land Grain Corridor Group of Companies signed a cooperation agreement.
The companies intend to cooperate in the transportation of grain and oilseed crops, as well as resolve issues with customs clearance and payments.
The production and export company EPT (Novosibirsk, part of the Russian New Land Grain Corridor Group of Companies) signed a contract with the Chinese state corporation China Chengtong to supply 70 million tons of Russian agricultural crops to China.
The New Land Grain Corridor Russia – China program is aimed at ensuring food security and increasing trade turnover.
