The volume of grain processed by Rosselkhoznadzor inspectors for export outside the Novosibirsk Region increased by 20%. Such data are provided by the press service of the department.
So, since the beginning of 2022, inspectors have issued 13,209 phytosanitary certificates for sending batches of grain and products of its processing outside the region. The total volume of shipped products amounted to 717 thousand tons. This is 20% more than in the same period in 2021.
The top 4 importing countries of Novosibirsk grain included Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus and China. They account for more than 80% of the export volume. Also in the list of consignees are Latvia, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Pakistan, Thailand, Lithuania, Mongolia, Myanmar, Poland, Czech Republic and Uzbekistan.
“All shipped lots are free from quarantine objects, comply with phytosanitary requirements, as well as safety requirements of the Eurasian Economic Union and importing countries,” the ministry said.
